New Wedding Boutique in London
It’s been a great week for socialising! Even better I spent a day with my mum too. Always a bonus
The Boutique Bridal Co-op in London, opened its doors this week. Mum and I made our way, via the Bluebird Cafe in Chelsea for a quick bite to eat (it just had to be done!), to a new bridal accessories shop on Wandsworth Bridge Road near Fulham. Founders Tori (Tori Harris Pro Team- hair and makeup) and Victoria (Victoria Millesime – bridal accessories) opened this beautiful and unique space to offer luxury wedding and lifestyle services.
As part of their lovely boutique they are showcasing some of the finest wedding products designed by independent British suppliers – including my new range of cards and prints. (So new I haven’t even finished my promotional shots for them yet )

‘Sassy Du Fleur’ Will You Be My Bridesmaid
“The Boutique offers a totally new wedding experience for our clients and somewhere to find the very best in design and finishing touches for that special day.”
For launch night (Tuesday 25th October) we enjoyed an evening of canapes, bubbly and cake. Lots of cake. The boutique is looking beautiful and it was lovely to see so many gorgeous products made by independent British craftspeople and designers on the shelves. I thought Victoria and Tori had a done a great job especially as they turned it around only two weeks after receiving the keys.
The winner of the night for my mum and me was the cake of course! Supplied by The Custom Cake Boutique and afternoon tea by Mrs Jones Tea. The attention to detail was wonderful. This also included the stunning aroma courtesy of Tussie Mussie Candles. It was lovely chatting with Natasha from Tussie Mussie, and Jen from Jennifers Papers, swapping advice about being independent makers and how we also juggle our jobs and families. It was also lovely to meet many people I’m inspired by on Instagram, in person.
Future Plans
The wedding industry is something I have had my eye on for a while so it’s very exciting to finally dip my toe in its pretty waters. I have more planned of course and am already working on another exciting wedding project as well as a broader range of wedding stationary. SO watch this space.
And Finally…
My first wedding fair will be the Happily Ever After Wedding Fair on 12th March 2017. I’ll be running flower dress workshops to hens and friends on the day. Again, I’ll be posting more details nearer the time.
Better get back to work, I’ve got a lot of designing to do.
