On Wednesday I was as pleased as punch to run another floral workshop for the Brighton Etsy Team and Etsy UK for their #etsybloggersleepover. Eight stylish fashion bloggers turned up at the Lick Warehouse (as in delicious frozen yogourt) to watch our Brighton Team leaders in action. Creative action. The lineup included Toby ‘I Like Cats’, Kate ‘Oh Someday Jewellery’, Sarah ‘Rock Cakes’, Karli ‘DesignosaurYEAH’, Claire ‘Cat-a-Cake Creations’, Ali & Jam ‘Hello Dodo’ and Ellen ‘B Millinary’. The event was beautifully styled by Claire ‘In The Making Made’
Whilst the Brighton Etsy team worked their artistic magic, the bloggers made floral dresses with a myriad of flowers, using my pre-made templates. The flowers we used included roses, dahlias, Lithuanians and gypsophlia alongside gorgeous hydrangeas stolen from my neighbours garden (sorry Lynn).
And these are the results!!

After the bloggers finished their floral petal dresses, they were given the opportunity to roam the room and watch our amazing Brighton Etsy creatives making their wares. It’s really fascinating to actually see the process and tools involved.
After being to treated to pink lemonade, Lick’s delicious frozen yogourt followed by Pimms, the bloggers had another workshop treat. This time with Karli from DesignosaurYEAH, making fun necklaces and bracelets.
It was a brilliant way to spend the afternoon, in a creative cluster, I really didn’t want it to end! Thank you Brighton Etsy for asking me to take part.

Like the Brighton Etsy Craft Party a few weeks ago, its whet my appetite for doing more workshops. I’d love to know what you think and if it’s something you might be interested in as a craft party idea, hen party concept or just a nice way to spend the afternoon with your friends. Leave a comment below, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Have an inspired day
