I’m feeling the love. It was blue Monday this week, but I honestly didn’t feel the sadness. Even after the tragedy of watching that idiot Trump becoming President of the US. It would be easy to feel pretty hopeless.
But no, I’m in the mood for love.
Not just romantic love. Love for my friends, family, my beautiful children. I think this loving feeling could be due to being grateful. Don’t worry this post, isn’t going to be too mushy.
Have you ever kept a gratefulness diary? Well, since the New Year, everyday I have been writing down 1 or 2 things that I have been grateful for that day.
I have to say, I was a little wary of this idea at first. I felt it sounded a bit woolly, silly, sickly sweet, namby pamby. But do you know what? I think it’s working. I’m noticing more of the positive in my day rather than focusing on what I haven’t achieved or the negative things that may have happened. I’m actively seeking out the positive.
